Questions Learners Ask Most

Can I enrol if I am not currently working in a nursery?

You need access to a suitable Early Years setting for practical observation. If you are not employed in one, Ambition can support eligible learners with placement through the CCN network, subject to safeguarding, availability and the requirements of the registered qualification.
An assessor observes your real practice with children – for example how you support learning, development, care, communication, safety and professional procedures.
Theory and tutor support can be delivered flexibly, but competence-based practical observations must take place in an appropriate real Early Years environment where required.
Planned support includes access to learning resources, tutor/assessor guidance, feedback on assignments and observations, and help understanding portfolio evidence.
Typical pathways include Early Years Educator, nursery practitioner, Teaching Assistant and SEN support roles. Appointment depends on employer criteria and applicable UAE regulatory requirements.
Level 3 is a recognised progression point toward higher Early Years qualifications. Some Level 5 pathways also expect relevant work experience.
Your assessor will provide feedback and explain what evidence or revision is required. Resubmission rules and any associated fees should be confirmed in Ambition’s learner agreement.
Relevant prior learning or workplace experience may help you understand the course and, where permitted by the qualification rules, may be considered through Recognition of Prior Learning. This is never automatic and must be formally assessed.
On successful completion and quality assurance of the registered qualification, certification is issued according to the awarding body’s process. Ambition will confirm the exact certificate title before enrolment.
