For eligible Ambition learners whose registered qualification requires workplace practice, placement hours can be supported through the Chubby Cheeks Nursery network. This gives learners access to real Early Years environments while building the evidence required for competence-based assessment.
What does "guaranteed placement hours" mean?
Ambition will provide an appropriate placement opportunity within the CCN network for eligible enrolled learners who require practical hours, provided the learner meets safeguarding, attendance, conduct and documentation requirements. The number and type of hours will follow the exact registered qualification specification.
Placement Hours - Why the Exact Qualification Matters
NCFE qualifications have different practical requirements. For example, NCFE’s Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner recommends around 250 placement hours, while Level 3 qualifications can have different work/placement structures. Ambition will issue the applicable placement plan once the exact qualification code is confirmed.

- Abu Dhabi: Mushrif and active CCN locations subject to placement capacity.
- Sharjah: Al Taawun and active CCN locations subject to placement capacity.
Branch preference can be requested but final allocation depends on age-group exposure, capacity, assessor planning and safeguarding requirements.
